Assistant Fashion Designer – ACTA Collection

Location: Ogden, UT (On-Site)

Position Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Apparel Designer to support our team in developing apparel

collections from concept to production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, able to

follow creative direction, meet deadlines, and passionate about learning the full design and

product development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist designer in seasonal development and trend research.
• Support with sample fittings, and technical drawings
• Help source fabrics, trims, track materials, and manage sample flow
• Support the development of tech packs BOM, line sheets, and garment detail.
• Communicate design approvals to factory and assist with resolving any issues
• Build fabric and trim library and maintain organized design files
• Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, and development teams to ensure smooth

product realization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, or related field (or equivalent

experience)

• 1–2+ years of experience in apparel design or internships in fashion/apparel, with a

strong portfolio showcasing your design skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of garment construction and fabrics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Excellent communication and team-player attitude
• Open to travel overseas for factory visits and trade shows.
