A growing international organization is expanding its project-based operations in the United States. To support this growth, the company is seeking a Junior Finance Manager to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and administrative processes for U.S.-based activities, ensuring strong financial controls, compliance, and operational efficiency.

This role will partner closely with operations and the broader finance team to support business performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Position Summary

The Junior Finance Manager supports the day-to-day accounting, finance, and administrative activities for the company’s project-based operations. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cash management, and partnering with operations to ensure strong financial controls and timely reporting.

The position collaborates closely with project teams and the broader finance organization to support financial reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

The ideal candidate brings strong accounting fundamentals, experience in project-based environments, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Accounting

Support month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance

Prepare periodic financial reports and supporting schedules

Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and controls

Accounts Payable & Vendor Support

Oversee invoice processing and vendor maintenance activities

Partner with operations to ensure proper coding and documentation

Monitor aging and support timely payment processing

Project Financial Support

Partner with project teams to support cost tracking and financial reporting

Assist with project cash flow forecasting and analysis

Provide financial insights to support project performance

Cash & Reporting

Support cash position monitoring and reporting activities

Assist with financial reporting to the broader finance organization

Audit & Compliance

Support audit and tax preparation activities

Maintain organized financial documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably within construction, engineering or project-based industries
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, general ledger management, accounts payable oversight, and month-end close processes.
• Experience preparing project level cash flow forecasts and partnering with project teams on financial reporting and cost tracking.
• Experience supporting annual audits and working directly with external and internal auditors.
• Exposure to tax compliance processes and coordination with external CPAs is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems required; experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central or Dynamics 365) strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) required
