Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CDL A Truck Driver, located in Clarksville, TN. The CDL A Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials between company facilities and external vendors. This role includes loading and unloading trucks, operating material, handling equipment, and utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate shipments.
Reporting to the Production Planning Supervisor, this position plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery.
Essential Functions
• Safely operate company vehicles, including van and flatbed trucks, to transport materials.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to verify, load, and track shipments.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required paperwork.
• Deliver materials to vendors and pick up supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Transport trucks and trailers for maintenance and service as required.
