We are seeking a motivated Controls Engineer to join our team in Mossville, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems used to monitor and optimize engineering processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset and hands-on controls experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Support electrical design activities from concept through system completion while adhering to project timelines
Test, evaluate, calibrate, and modify products and control systems
Analyze plant processes and implement performance improvements
Troubleshoot hardware, control systems, and process-related issues
Perform technical calculations related to electrical systems, motor controls, and safety standards
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in controls engineering or related field
Strong experience with control systems and Simulink
Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CANape
Knowledge of engine systems and aftertreatment systems
Understanding of robotic safety standards and motor controls
Ability to interpret data and make informed engineering decisions
