The Mission As our Maintenance Mechanic, you are the heartbeat of the facility. You won't just be "fixing things"—you’ll be diagnosing complex systems, fabricating custom solutions, and ensuring our production floor never misses a beat.

Your Daily Impact:

  • Fabrication & Repair: Flex your welding and metal-working muscles to create custom brackets, supports, and essential equipment fixes.

  • System Mastery: Diagnose and dominate issues across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (motors and industrial switches).

  • Precision Engineering: Use calipers and micrometers to maintain tight tolerances and leverage your CMM experience to ensure everything is millimetre-perfect.

  • Proactive Innovation: Don't just follow the manual—improve it. We want your input on updating policies and procedures for long-term reliability.

  • Facility Care: Keep the gears turning (literally) through consistent lubrication, oiling, and smart inventory management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use welding and metal-working tools to repair equipment or create custom brackets/supports for the production floor. 
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as the ability to read blueprints 
  • Diagnose and fix complex machinery issues involving hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, and electrical systems (motors and industrial switches). 
  • Keeping track of inventory and communicating to leadership when tools and equipment needed to be replenished. 
  • Re Oiling and lubricating equipment
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers and has an understanding of tight tolerances
  • Proactive approach to making valid changes and adjustments to current standard policies and procedures for long-term solutions
  • Experience with CMM

The essential functions of this role include:
