Client is open to perm or temp to perm candidates

Location : Hoboken, NJ 07030

Schedule : Mon- Fri 10/11am- 6/7pm

Compensation : $120k ($100k-$110k for a new grad)

Temp Pay Rate : $40- $43

Notes

• For temp to perm candidates, the temp period would be based on the candidate's performance and overall fit, rather than a fixed duration
• Established: ~7 years
• Update: Recently brought on a partner who will now help operate/manage the clinic
• Staff mix :1 DPT, 1 Office Manager, Physical Therapists Assistant, several massage therapists (many are Chinese-speaking professionals)
• Population : adults (mainly ages 30-40)
• Medicare NOT accepted
• Language requirement: bilingual Chinese candidate desired, but not a hard requirement
• Interview process : 1 interview (virtual or in- person)
• How many patients would the PT see daily? About 18
• What types of cases would they be seeing? They will primarily see standard outpatient physical therapy cases. The caseload is straightforward and highly manageable. Treatments mostly consist of foundational PT skills learned in school, such as stretching, manual therapy (massage), and guiding patients through basic therapeutic exercises
• Does your practice receive patient referrals from hospitals or ortho practices? Most of our patients come from direct access, word of month, and patient’s referrals.
• Open to new Grads? Yes, while our ideal candidate has about two years of experience in an outpatient setting, we are absolutely open to new graduates. Our top priority is finding someone who is a great cultural fit and easy to work with—we value a cooperative attitude over advanced clinical skill sets right out of the gate.
• Is there a specific orientation or training period? What does that look like? Will work closely with Dr. We understand the concern about support, but because the clinical work here relies on foundational skills, we have seen new grads adapt very quickly and thrive. While Dr. is not on-site daily, he will provide an onboarding session (about an hour) before they start to cover protocols, expectations, and precautions. Additionally, Dr. provides standardized medical note templates categorized by case type, which gives new grads an easy-to-follow reference for their documentation.
• EMR System : We use Blaze for all documentation. We will guide them through all the documentation.
• If we identify Chinese-speaking PTs, are you looking for Cantonese or Mandarin? Mandarin is preferred, but this doesn’t matter
• For ongoing support, Dr. is available for phone consultations if the physical therapists have any questions regarding specific patient cases or clinical notes.
