Project Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX

Description

The main function of a Project Coordinator is to work closely with project managers, functional managers, and engineers to support a variety of project support and coordination initiatives needed for successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Support data gathering and analytics for various areas of engineering and project management, including project cost, schedule, quality, and efficiency performance.
• Support company’s Management of Change (MOC) process, including managing MOC documentation and coordination/tracking of MOC activities
• Support tracking of project KPI’s and performance metrics, including documenting performance trends
• Support 3rd party engineering and consultant contracting process and invoice management
• Interface with internal and external project stakeholders
• Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance metrics
• Manage and lead project tasks as assigned by department managers and senior-level engineers/project managers
• Assist with managing department process improvement initiatives
• Preparing written reports and other project communication materials
• Complete tasks with high level of accuracy and quality
• Complete tasks efficiently and on time
• Support the overall functional teams in a helpful and positive manner
