Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to analyze project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and overhead. This role plays a critical part in budgeting, pricing, and resource planning to support project profitability and overall success across manufacturing and construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets for manufacturing and construction projects
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to define scope and resource needs
• Utilize estimating and design tools such as RS Means, ProEst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel
• Research and evaluate material, labor, and equipment costs while monitoring market trends
• Identify project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value-engineering options
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support planning and execution
• Participate in project reviews, vendor evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• 7+ years of experience in project estimation, cost engineering, or related roles
• Proficiency with RS Means, ProEst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred
• ASPE or DBIA certification is a plus

Additional Details

• Up to 25% travel required
