What You’ll Do

• Serve as a go-to legal expert on complex title insurance matters
• Evaluate risk and deliver clear, practical underwriting guidance
• Approve and authorize title insurance commitments and policies
• Partner with internal teams and agents to drive successful closings
• Help develop and refine underwriting standards and best practices
• Share your expertise through training and thought leadership

What You Bring

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active Connecticut Bar admission
• 5+ years of title underwriting or commercial real estate law experience
• Strong command of real estate transactions, title, and regulatory frameworks
• Exceptional communication, judgment, and relationship-building skills
• A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex deals
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-level transactions simultaneously

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $130,000 – $215,000+ (based on length of relevant experience)
