Job Title: Crisis QMHC (Qualified Mental Health Clinician)

Location: Enterprise, OR 97828

Job Type: Contract (26–52 weeks) with potential Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Crisis QMHC to provide crisis intervention and outpatient behavioral health services in a rural community setting. This role combines on-call crisis response with outpatient clinical support , offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Clinicians respond to behavioral health crises across the county while also providing follow-up care and outpatient therapy during non-crisis hours. Crisis calls are relatively low volume, averaging approximately one call per week , allowing clinicians to balance crisis response with meaningful outpatient care.

This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy autonomy, teamwork, and serving rural communities while working with a supportive clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to behavioral health crisis calls throughout the county as part of a two-person response team
  • Provide crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and referral services
  • Travel within the county to crisis locations
  • Utilize a company vehicle for crisis response (no personal use permitted)
  • Conduct follow-up outreach with individuals identified as potential crisis clients
  • Provide outpatient therapy services during designated clinic days
  • Document all services in the Epic behavioral health EMR system
  • Participate in on-call rotation for evenings and weekends
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and community resources

Schedule

Week 1

  • Five 8-hour shifts
  • Start times between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
  • Option for 30-minute or 1-hour lunch
  • Evening on-call coverage after shift until the following morning
  • Weekend on-call rotation

Week 2

  • Three days off
  • Four 10-hour outpatient clinic shifts
  • Start time 7:00–7:30 AM
  • End time 5:30–6:00 PM

Crisis Volume

  • Average ~1 crisis call per week
  • Maximum 2–3 calls per week

Compensation

  • $30–$40 per hour (depending on experience and credentials)
  • Housing Provided

On-Call Pay

  • Weekday (Mon–Fri): $50 per shift
  • Weekend (Sat–Sun): $75 per shift
  • Holiday: $100 per shift

Additional hourly on-call stipend:

  • Weekdays: $2.50/hour
  • Holidays: $4.00/hour

Required Qualifications

  • Active Oregon License
  • QMHP or LCSW credentials
  • CPR Certification (can be obtained onsite if needed)
  • Experience in behavioral health, crisis response, or mental health counseling
  • Ability to travel within the county for crisis response
