Senior Front-End Developer (Angular) | Full-Time | No H1B | Immediate Hiring
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Front-End Developer (Angular) to join our Debt Management Platform (DMP) modernization program. This is a strong individual contributor (IC) role, requiring deep technical expertise, ownership, and the ability to independently deliver high quality UI components aligned with business needs.
The candidate will work closely with Product Managers, UX designers, and backend teams to build scalable, performant, and secure user interfaces for internal users, member banks, and dealers.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular (latest versions preferred)
• Translate business requirements and UX designs into clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Work as a hands-on individual contributor, owning features end-to-end from development to deployment
• Integrate front-end components with Java-based microservices APIs • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and accessibility standards
• Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and data integration • Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a fast-paced agile environment
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and deployment workflows • Maintain clear documentation for developed components and features
Required Qualifications
• 3–7 years of experience in front-end development with strong expertise in Angular (v10+)
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and backend integration
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture and state management
• Experience with RxJS, Angular CLI, and modern build tools
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in financial services or capital markets (nice to have)
• Exposure to microservices architecture (Java/Spring ecosystem)
• Experience with UI performance tuning and optimization
• Familiarity with security best practices (SSO, OAuth, Keycloak integration)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, etc.) • Experience with dashboarding tools or data-heavy UI applications
What We’re Looking For
• A builder mindset – someone who can take ownership and deliver, not just execute tasks
• Strong focus on core functionality over over-engineering
• Ability to balance speed, quality, and scalability
• Clear communicator who can work effectively with cross-functional teams
Success Criteria
• Timely delivery of production-quality UI features
• High-quality, maintainable code aligned with program standards
• Strong ownership and accountability across assigned modules
• Effective collaboration with product, UX, and backend teams
