Product Category Manager, Performance Automotive & Powersports

Category Strategy & Growth
· Develop and execute category growth strategies to increase revenue and market share
· Identify new product opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, and vehicle platform trends
· Build and manage product roadmaps aligned with business objectives
Product Innovation
· Lead product ideation and translate customer needs into product concepts and requirements
· Serve as the voice of the customer throughout the development process
· Partner with engineering to deliver differentiated, high-performance products
Market & Competitive Intelligence
· Monitor trends in the automotive and powersports performance aftermarket
· Analyze competitor products, pricing, and positioning
· Evaluate vehicle platforms and data to prioritize product opportunities
Product Launch & Lifecycle Management
· Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies
· Define product positioning, features, and value propositions
· Track category performance and adjust strategies to drive growth
Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
· 5+ years of experience in product management, category management, or product development within the automotive or powersports aftermarket
· Strong knowledge of performance aftermarket products and enthusiast markets
· Proven ability to identify opportunities and lead new product introductions
· Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred
· Experience with stage-gate product development processes
· Familiarity with vehicle fitment data and aftermarket distribution channels
· Passion for automotive or powersports performance
